Installation

Windows Setup

• Download the latest version of Gradient Network Bot

• Extract all files to a directory of your choice

• Ensure the config folder is in the same directory as the executable

• Run run.exe

Ubuntu Setup

1. Create a working folder for your bot:

   mkdir /home/gradient-network-bot

2. Transfer files:

   • Use any FTP/SFTP client to transfer:

     • Linux executable from the folder

   • Transfer both files to /home/gradient-network-bot

3. Set up and run using screen:

   # Navigate to working folder
   cd /home/gradient-network-bot
   
   # Create a screen session
   screen -S gradient-bot-session
   
   # Run the bot (using the executable from linux folder)
   ./run_linux
   
   # Exit screen (keep bot running): Ctrl+A, then press D

4. Screen Commands Reference:

   # Delete a session
   screen -X -S gradient-bot-session quit
   
   # Reattach to session
   screen -r gradient-bot-session
   
   # List all sessions
   screen -ls

5. Troubleshooting:

   • If you get "permission denied" error:

     chmod +x /home/gradient-example-bot/run_linux
